Here we go again Chris Lockwood aka the only guy I would ever hire to be MY bodyguard couldn’t make it to SiS2010 in Weidenthal because of his new job in California. So what is to do in that case? Exactly you run your own SiS.
I will be doing my own SiS on Saturday night Cali time as well, honoring SiS10.
12 hrs on my new Cinelli Mash piste, it won’t be as dificult but I will be doing 12km laps all night through my neighborhood. Looks like my wife and my new golden retrievers, Emma and Mavic will be my support crew, I fucking love it! Beer, shots of whiskey and a small camp fire in my back yard. So I will be riding SiS 10 - Roseville CA 1st edition.
It seems like that he succeeded on all levels as you can tell in the picture and the note he wrote today
Basically my ride started at sunset (roughly 2030hrs) and I road until roughly 0530 the next morning. My goal was 20 laps or 100 miles (162 km), I completed my goal of 100 miles. It was a road ride, nothing as hard as SiS, but it was cold and windy as hell and hard in it’s own way. I still had my shots of whiskey and beer through out the night. Anyway, thanks for the fucking PAIN!
There is a pretty good chance that you were the only guy at SiS2010 who treated the event like it was some kind of sport thing … you crazy crazy man! Hope you can get your ass over here for the 2011 edition, I really miss you - in a very very manly way that is! Oh and by the way “Mavic” is like the coolest dog name ever!
