The event you all put together was outstanding! I really appreciate you taking the time and helping out the Ramstein folks. We had a blast and have been talking about the event all week. In the words of our club’s leader, “Sunday’s “Sleepless in the Saddle” race will go down as the RACC event of the summer!”

I wanted to say thanks on behalf of all of the Americans in attendance for a great event. We had a fantastic time and really enjoyed the camaraderie and hospitality of everyone involved. I had a flat at the farthest point on the course, the base of the long hill, and nearly every rider that went by offered to help in some way. One rider even gave me his pump and a tube so I could try to fix the flat. My problem was my tubeless valve was stuck in the rim and I couldn’t get it out forcing me to run or ride on the flat tire for 5km all the way back to camp. It made for a long lap at 2 o’clock in the morning. Everyone I met was very friendly if not a little crazy. Thanks again!
I also wanted to say how impressed I am with the website. Very easy to navigate and get info and a great design. Who ever does the site has a great artistic touch! The posters and shirts were top quality as well. Too bad the featured rider had to be the big, hairy, ugly Ed but it made for a great image and design! Nice job all around. The American group will be back next year for sure! That broken derailleur trophy will live on my shelf forever! - Les Handy
Just want to say thanks for the awesome time at SIS. It was an outstanding event, great atmosphere, and cool people. The singlespeed crowd are great people who are just a little different, in a good way. I had been considering a singlespeed for awhile (I used to ride a fix gear track bike growing up in Japan) but after SIS I have decided to purchase a singlespeed 29er very soon (I have been searching the internet for a good deal). Looking forward to next year, again thanks for the great ride. - Chris Lookwood
